Last night saw the ultimate fashion party as all our favourite FROW-ers attended a ball hosted by Carine Roitfeld to celebrate her MAC Cosmetics range. It was
grand, it was lavish, it was très très chic as Kanye West, Kate Moss, Cara Delevingne and Karl Lagerfeld descended on the swanky historic Hôtel Salomon de
Rothschild in Paree.
It was a Roitfeld invasion as the fashion pack rocked the ex French Vogue editor’s signature look, sticking to the strict dress code of 'black tie and smokey
eyes'. Even the men rocked some impressive guyliner, including the hunky waiters.
The women stuck to a black uniform as Rachel Zoe wore a Viktor and Rolf voluminous black top avec pencil skirt while Karlie Kloss bared all in a black cutaway dress
with slits all the way up her leg. Ooh la la! But Cara Delevingne was as ever the kooky rule breaker of the group, wearing a patterned flowing maxi in (gasp) blues,
greens and greys.
As well as Karlie and Cara, other fashion BFFs came out to play – Kate Moss and Vivienne Westwood, Mario Testino and Natalia Vodianova, Anna Dello Russo and Carine
Roitfeld were all snapped getting cosy. Designers were also out in force including Giambattista Valli, Karl Lagerfeld, Gareth Pugh, Alexander Wang and Valentino
Garavani.
The fashion royalty watched Paloma Faith perform in a fabulous yellow gown and we can safely assume they drank a LOT of bubbles. There is after all photographic
evidence thanks to Twitter of Karl and Carine taking a spin on the dancefloor while ADR with microphone in her hand (we'd like to think she was singing Fashion
Shower).
They may have left the FROW but luckily their fingers were still stuck to their phones, so you can gatecrash the party with our gallery above of the top twitpics
