Director Chanel luxury knitwear company buys Scottish
A centuries-old Scottish knitwear house was saved from extinction of the French luxury brand Chanel. Barrie Knitwear was on the brink of closure after the parent company goes bankrupt in the summer. The acquisition will be 176 jobs.
