The label of the famous and romantic mode was launched with great fanfare in 1997 and is stored in David Jones as well as stand-alone Alannah Hill warehouses.
When contacted yesterday morning Factory X graphic and marketing director Kara Brooks said she was not aware Hill had left the company.
Later in the day, the company issued a statement thanking Hill for his years of service and wish him the best.
Senior Partner and co-founder David Heeney said the company had been working on the development and revive the label and it will be business as usual.
"For loyal customers Alannah Hill, have you had to see a new approach and the traditional signing of the Alannah Hill new collection now in stores," he said.
Mrs. Hill was born in Geeveston and spent much of his childhood in Penguin before, to pursue a career in fashion in Melbourne on 16th Miu Miu bag
